We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Elizabeth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany Elizabeth, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance? When I was younger I was very into the “hustle” work mentality that I let work play a higher priority than my personal life. Which meant I missed out on family and friend life events. As I get older I started to realize that work isn’t everything. You can still have that drive and not miss out on important life events. I started to appreciate my personal relationships more and that showing up means 10x more than sending a gift. Just being present is priceless. So now, I try to have a balance between grinding in my career and showing up for people who I care about. It’s possible to have both.
